@MistressJennie sent an amazingly scrappy package.
First is a quilt top in wonderfully warm and yummy colors. Just my favorites! I love the scrappy stripes and warm energy of this. It will be fun to quilt up.

And in addition a sweet little prayer flag with a scrappy landscape and lively message. Wait till you see what I sent her!

And then some little stars for my star quilt. So sweet and perfect.

The whole package:

Thank you so much!

I’m in love with the prayer flag!

Here are the awesome goodies I received from @Myruka!!

First off this amazing bag! I love, love it so much. Black and white and scrappy! I love the UFO fabric, too.

It’s so roomy inside!

Then she made a super cool earthy zip pouch. She said zippers aren’t her friends but I would never know from this!

And fun extras! Bookmarks and a wrist strap/key fob. Plus my cool card!

Thanks so much @Myruka! I hope you like package just as much!!

Drooling over that bag!

I also received from @marionberries! One of the items I mentioned being open to was placemats for our kitchen…

Um, guys, these aren’t placemats. They are placemat sized art-quilts that food should not be allowed to touch! They are so stunning! Seriously, I took good photos, and they still don’t do them justice. I’m honestly considering hanging them as a series of wall quilts, behind our kitchen table, so we can see them, rather than let them be covered with plates, and spilled food. (I know this might sound odd, but our kitchen houses some of my absolute favorite, most precious pieces of art, from LC friends.)

She also made these adorable matching napkin rings!

Thank you so much @marionberries! I absolutely adore them!!!

@MistressJennie you are so welcome. :slightly_smiling_face: you could just turn them over to eat on them and then flip them back to admire. :grinning:
They were so fun to create. Did you find the farmhouse, the owl, the city, and the flying birds?
@Abbeeroad and @Myruka what a beautiful bag. The b&w is stunning.

Um, I’ve been staring at them hardcore for 48 hours. I totally found the hidden bits! I also keep petting them gently…

First of all, wowzers @marionberries and @MistressJennie! Those are definitely works of art. I’m blown away.

@Abbeeroad i am so, so happy that you liked your bag and pouch. I was so nervous having to sew for you, but super excited as well.

And now to post the wonders I received from @Abbeeroad

First, this card which I love. It’s as if Hitchcock made romance movies. Lol. That’s the feel it gave me and I like it.

First, this mug rug. Ugh!!! I love the color combinations so much. I might just hang it. Hahahahah.

Also, don’t mind my painted table. My kids like using acrylics :grimacing: lol

Next, I think my new favorite craft… which all are my favorite but this is my new favorite

Scrappy hoopla art!!!

I love the scenery. Look at all the different green fabrics used for the grass. I‘ve always wanted to do this but I find it so intimidating.

And this cute little extra. A scrappy magnet.

Thank you so much @Abbeeroad!!

Ooo, I love the scrappy vibe in this swap. Everyone is really embracing the scrappy life!
@Abbeeroad and @Myruka, what a fun package. The mug rug is so cute and the fabric collage hoop is a joy. I like the b&w magnet too. My fridge needs one.
And as to collaging with fabric, just start throwing bits of fabric on a backing. Landscapes are fun, flowers, houses. Then randomly machine stitch it all down.
I often pin or use a dissolvable topping. Glue stick works to keep fussy pieces in place too.

You make it sound so easy, but I know it is not! You have such a talent for where to put what colors and how to compose small bits into a cohesive whole. I always have your work in my mind’s eye when playing with scraps, but my results look quite different!

I received an awesome package from @Teachergirl, I am bit late in posting this I got it a few weeks ago but had some family stuff happening so didn’t have the mental energy to take photos and post them. So sorry for not acknowledging it earlier. Also missing from the photos is the clever way all the gifts got wrapped in some scrap fabric, someone in my house saw the fabric and put it in my fabric pile and now it has been lost to the scrap overlord!!

First up here is everything all together. As you can see its an explosion of colour which is so my vibe!! I got very lucky, I got sent two large pot holders, a reversible bowl cozi and a cooling neck tie (excited to try this in the upcoming summer)

How cute is this informative little turtle!

The flip side of my new microwave bowl cozi

I don’t have a picture of this, but when the package arrived it had been tapped back up with tape saying it had been opened and checked by customs. First time this has ever happened to me so hopefully nothing is missing!

Rainbow goodness all around. I love it all.

Its all there, guessing the pot holder batting or the water gel beads gave a weird vibe through x-ray.

This gallery is looking fabulous! I’m amazed at what everyone can do with scraps, so cool!

@MistressJennie - that quilt top is just beautiful, the way you’ve mixed those colours is gorgeous!

@Myruka - I love the black and white bag, it’s brilliant! And with UFOs too

@marionberries - your art quilts are exquisite! I can’t believe you got such amazing light effects and sense of space from scraps, wow!

@Abbeeroad - those pieces are so stylish and pretty, yum! The house art hoop gives me such happy vibes :cherry_blossom:

@Teachergirl - that package is full of rainbows and sunshine, happy and practical too! Fantastic gifts, I think I need a bowl cosy like that, thanks for the inspiration :grinning:

(@Mvanrh11 I hope everything is going better for you now, family stuff can be hard.)

I received a glorious package from @Edel, she really spoiled me! All the way from Ireland, in record time too

All the pretties, even the card is a cool scrap of painterly goodness -

This scrappy little container for arty bits and bobs is just delightful! (and bears ) It’s made with an origami method, I’m intrigued.

I asked for a cover for my art supplies ikea trolley, to protect my brushes and watercolours
from dust and sun. Well, this is a spectacular one, complete with colour wheel inspiration! I’m tempted to hang it on the wall, but it does look fabulous on my art trolley.

She also included a pretty frilly apron, which was something she couldn’t quite fit in a previous swap we did. Complete with mid-century mod print and cherries - perfect! (I need to do some baking to get an action shot :cherries:) And a super cute retro headband, I love the green and polka dots!

Bonus item!! @Magpie was visiting when @Edel was putting the package together, and sent this beautiful little inspiration  thank you my friend!

Thank you so much @Edel, I love everything! I’ll be inspired by your beautiful work every time I get my paints out
