I was partnered with @chameleonhound for the prayer flag swap and two of the themes she listed were rainbows and embrace your weirdness. Because I’m on a happy sunshine kick, I decided to make her this cutie patootie prayer flag.
Don’t mind my messy craft desk. I forgot to take a better photo before I sent it off!
And a closer shot of the TEXTURE!
I used upholstery samples from a book I got at a creative reuse store for the back, hoarded scraps, embroidery floss, and rubber stamps. Shine bright, all you amazing weirdos!
I just love the expression on your sun! The texture of the “sky” is amazing…
This is a very fun and well executed flag!
Nothing weird about being a bit of a weirdo…ha ha!
I love this!! The scrappiness! The texture! The expression of the sun!
I am also digging the rounded corners at the bottom. All around wonderful.
Agreed! The best part of life is living how you want.
I love everything about this. Your suns look so happy and bring the cheer with them. I love all the textures and pops of color. Great quote too!
I so love the bright yellow sun! And that’s some amazing stitchery. Cool!
Lovely with all the texture and stitching.
I just really love everything about this cute weirdo!
I adore EVERYTHING about this flag. It sings to my colorful, weirdo heart.
I love this! So much texture, so much happy!
And I love this site full of amazing weirdos!
Congrats! Your project is one of our features this week!
Thank you everyone for their lovely comments and thank you for the feature, @Abbeeroad!
It is SO COOL! The pops of colour are delicious.
