Shopping Cart Cover

Made a shopping cart cover for my work bestie’s baby shower. She specifically requested camo and wildlife, so I found a really pretty gender neutral wildlife print for the inside.

I didn’t have a pattern so much as a set of schematics showing the dimensions, but really there wasn’t much too it. I was going to put in side pockets, but ran out of time. The black strip is for hooking toys onto over the handle part. Also, please ignore my work computer and desk.

Super cute cart cover. I’m sure it will be used a ton.

Awww, that little wildlife print is so cute! What a great gift!

Cool idea and great gift!

adorable fabric combination!

I’m not a fan of camo, but I love the animal print on the inside! My MIL was huge on shopping cart covers! I also think they’re pretty cool! (The one my MIL had was such a pain to put on the cart…then we’d have kids screaming in the background…it was miserable.)

Yeah, camo isn’t my cup of tea either, but I asked her what kinds of patterns and that’s what she gave me hahaha. I’m hoping this one isn’t a pain in the butt for the cart, I’ve never had/made one before (wanted one though, when my kidniks were small and the germs were everywhere). I’ll get her to give me a critique, and tweak it for the next one

She’s really going to appreciate that gift. The animas are adorable. I find that shopping carts are shaped a little different at each store, so the cover might fit perfect at one store but not quite at another. I just make do with my cover no matter where I’m shopping.

This is fantastic!! Waaaay cuter than the shopping cart cover I had when my kiddos were little!
