Bought a shower curtain at the thrift store but I didn’t like the hue of the warm accents. They were in cinnamon and red brick colors and though not a lot, there was enough to annoy me.
On the back of this seam you can see what those colors looked like.
Since the design was not complex and there wasn’t a whole lot of the accent colors, I decided to cover them in my signature color, bright pink/fuchsia.
I moved the curtain along on my ironing board as I finished painting each section. The material seemed to be some type of polyester and was fairly easy to paint.
I would have added a fabric extender to the paint if there had been a lot of painting to do.
For the most part, I tried using the Donna Dewberry one-stroke method, which I’d never done. It’s basically loading the brush with two colors, one on each side, and twisting the brush as you paint.
I doubled or tripled the number of the brownish accents (which were mostly near the top) with my fuchsia paint. I carried my design further down the curtain, making the new color more prominent.
I made any type of random marks and strokes I could think of in different areas, using the leaves to add various flower-like marks.
I immediately liked the drape and pattern of this shower curtain when I saw it, but not the muted teal colors. For a hot second, I thought about painting over those too but came to my senses. 
There were, however, enough of the chartreuse and pear colors to make me happy.
I wondered who designed this pretty, grommeted bathroom curtain but there is not a label nor markings. It is now my spring/summer shower curtain.
