I decided to send Thanksgiving cards to the seniors in my circle this year and made 12 of these Pumpkin Pie box cards. I was able to use stash for all the printed and embossed panels, the envelopes, and the whipped cream dollups. I did buy two shades of solid orange cand the tan cardstock.
They all have “Happy Thanksgiving” stamped on the front. Mostly in brown ink, except on the two prints it didn’t show well or dry on. On those, I used embossing powder.
I alternated between two sentiments for the back using the same ink or embossing powder as the front: “Get those stretch pants out!” and “Let’s get stuffed!”
The files for these come from SVGCuts which calls them box cards, but they are the first non rectangular box cards I’ve seen. It was fun to do a little something different. Here is how these collapse to fit into an envelope.
For the envelopes, I got to use up some of my autumnal printed cardstock that I’m unlikely to use for other projects!
I had fun photographing with these in the kitchen - not the best light, especially when I took the pics, but fun props!
