Lately, I find that I need to take an afternoon nap. And, since it’s sometimes still daylight when I do, I figured a sleep mask would be just the ticket. However, in true sloth fashion, it took me at least 3 years to get this done.
I used a free mask pattern for the shape of the mask, and I resized a quilt block from Wendi Gratz of Shiny Happy World for the sloth features. I used buttons for the eyes because this was originally for a Nerd Games prompt that required the use of buttons.
What a fun sleep mask!
Hopefully, you get to take a nap in private or else the giggling might wake you! It is adorable!
Thanks! I’m tempted to take it with me on the plane, but I think you might be right- I might not get much napping done😄
Adorable! I would probably wear it on a plane myself, but mostly to dare the flight staff to act like there’s nothing to see hear.
So cute! I’d wear it on a plane.
I might bring it with me when I fly on Friday, but I have some craft projects to work on, so I don’t have time to nap. Maybe on the flight home!
