I was paired up @Tapestry in the positive Affirmations Swap and I made her these little fabric baskets. ![]()
The Doctor Who one has a small mistake in it, it has a weird pleat on the inside. ![]()
These were fun to make!

They are darling, I love the fabrics you chose as well as the nifty construction. So very well done.
They are wonderful! I love both fabrics and the liners are perfectly matched. Theyโll definitely be put to good use.
@Magpie thabk you, I challenge d myself to use fabric I already had, luckily I had some perfect for Tapestry! Geeks unite.
I also thought the construction of these fabric baskets was really interesting.
@Tapestry Iโm glad you like them! ![]()
Wow, the baskets are the perfect size for those! ![]()
They absolutely are! Now I just need to make a dozen more and I might be able to organize my tea collection
.
They are so cute!
These are so cute and seem all sorts of useful!

You find the neatest baskets and totes to sew! Everything you have tried has been easy to do and the Christmas drawstring basket/tote has now become my favorite pattern of all!
I definitely want to try this one as I also have a tea bag storage problem. They would be perfect for organizing tea by the week, month, type, etc. Plus, using up some precious favorite fabrics is always good! I love these. Great job!
Congratulations! Your Small Fabric Baskets are a Featured Project this week!

Oh, how cute are these! And, I could use a little tea basket for my beverage bin at school, so I might be making one soon. Thanks for sharing the tutorial link, too.
Thank you! The baskets were fun and straight forward to make!
Iโm glad we share a love for the patterns Iโve found! You would be able to whip up these fabric baskets real quick Iโm sure. ![]()
I generally look on YouTube, because I find the videos really helpful to follow. Iโm a visual learner. ![]()
Iโd recommend using non directional fabric. I didnโt and the Harry Potter Basket I made @Tapestry is a bitโฆ eccentric ![]()
Hey! That basket is perfect for Harry Potter, after all the wizarding world is a bit topsy turvey and eccentric.
