A few weeks ago, I tested a crochet pattern for Nerfherder Knits’ Snips (Ahsoka Tano) Beanie. I knew from the second I saw it that I had to make one.
There’s a child size, too!
I wore it out and about on Saturday and got a lot of compliments!

This is perfect! Simple and easy to wear in real life, but such a brilliant reference to the original for people who recognize it. Plus, you’ve executed it beautifully. 
To be honest, I’m not sure how many, if any, people recognized the inspiration when I wore it out.
