I intended to send out homemade Christmas cards so the kid and I carved some stamps. I drew and carved the snow globe. Elliott drew and partially carved the tree with a little help from me. Elliott drew the bird and I carved it for him. Next year, I plan to add more little stamps to showcase in the snow globe. We used the stamps for Christmas cards for our neighbors that accompanied mini bundt cakes we made for them.
I waited a wee bit too long to use the stamps to make Christmas cards to send out so I opted to make Happy New Year Cards instead. I carved a little rattie and included a QR code that sent my recipients: Hope Is Not a Bird - Google Docs .
Oh, I love these so much. We used stamps on paper as wrapping paper this year. Maybe we’ll actually carve our own next year. Thank you for the inspiration!
