Soda Themed Bunting

I wanted to make something fun and quick so decided on a colourful bunting. I just cut triangles, sewed two sides together, turned and attached them to bias tape.

Not sure where it will hang yet.

This is the 3rd project I’ve made with this soda fabric.

Look what surprised me in my mailbox today!! Thank you so much! I’ve been having a bit of a bluesy time and then the mail truck arrived and brightened us up- literally and figuratively!

I feel so lucky to know all you fabulous people here. Thank you, Cindy.

Was it somewhere on Lettuce Craft that I saw the “one seam bunting?”
I think you start with squares. Let’s think a sec…fold diagonally and sew one of the sides. Trim off the point at the top? Turn. Does that make sense?

A quick google: you don’t even trim the top, just tuck it in.

That is a quick method if you use layer cakes but it seems a waste of material tucking the extra inside. If you’re going to cut your own fabric, I’d say do triangles, one more seam to sew but no waste.
