I think these have all found homes at this point, but I was looking through photos on my phone and found some fun humuhumunukunukuapua’a mugs and sake cups I made recently. (They’re thrown, carved, underglazed, etc.)

Maybe I’ll have to make some more soon!

@Tee that’s the Hawaiian name of the fish, aka reef trigger fish.

And yes, it’s a local fish (and designated as the “state” fish of Hawai’i). “Humuhumunukunukuapua’a” basically means “fish with a pig nose.”
