@FiredGinkgo and I decided to have family over for a โSoup and Sour Doughโ party.
The concept was so simple and it was so very fun! We provided the sour dough, from a local amazing baker, and everyone was asked to bring a crock of homemade soup.
It is akin to a charcuterie with all the good gubbins alongside.
The pub has such a range of cheese and meats - it was awesome. Itโs never been the same since those owners left and it was no longer on the menu (and closed and re-opened a few times)
What a great idea, sounds like my kind of party! I love soup and I love bread
Itโs currently as hot as soup outside here, but I still would not say no to an invite to such an event.
The way you have everything organized and labeled is great.
Haha, same! The pool temperatures here are starting to resemble a soup pot. Just go swimming with carrots and potatoes and you have dinner by the time youโre done.
This looks like a delicious good time. However, I was initially way confused because I read Soap and Sour Dough. I was thinking well, I totally get a party focused around bread, but whatโs with the soap? Are they making it? What if you get crumbs in it?
