Spring bunnies meet cute

I stitched this for @jemimah in the Prairie Schooler Spring/Summer cross stitch swap. Funny thing, she sent me a bunny as well!

I used the Prairie Schooler pattern Spring and Fall and changed it a little bit.
I don’t have a photo of the backside, but it’s the cleanest I’ve ever done.

Love it, it is so pretty.

Also jealous of your backside, mine is always a mess.

Prairie schooler  I’ll always love their clean simple patterns.

@CoffeeBeans do you know the loop method of attaching thread? It’s my favourite for a clean backside. Ok this sounds strange  but you guys know what I mean.

Lovely work…I also love their patterns because there is not a lot of backstitching needed to capture the image. Well designed.

I love the colors you picked for the flowers!

I know the starting loop trick, super useful. When I started I didn’t snip my ends. I just let it all hang out like a shaggy snarl in the back. Now I like to weave and snip. It’s been better since I’ve kept my project in a zippered bag. I have everything I need right there.

That’s adorable! I love bunnies. These are amazing because they aren’t too cutesy.

Super cute! I love the peachy and purpley colors you chose.
And now I know the loop joining method. Very handy.

@AIMR @Kwality570 It would be great if I could take credit for the colors, but they were the ones already chosen for the pattern.

I keep looking at how the eye is done…it just looks more complex than it is…so realistic looking!
