St Patrick's Day Not-So-Secret Pal

I made these “greeting cards” for St. Patrick’s Day. I was originally thinking they could be turned into bookmarks, but then when I added the baker’s twine I realized they could be hung as a decoration.

Almost all of these did not have anything indicating who they were from other than the return address and an educated guess. My parents received the only one with a bead as well as a charm. The bead would have single-handedly wrecked the whole USPS system if it were included

Materials:
paint sample card
reproduction of vintage image (it printed with some artifacts, but I used it anyway)
scrapbooking paper
baker’s twine
clover charm
washi tape
stamps, stickers, ink
Tombow glue and a smidge of Loctite

Other than the extra printed images and a surreptitious visit to a large chain hardware store, everything was from stash.

Thank you for looking!

Gah, these are adorable! My first thought was that they’d make a cool bookmark (great minds!), but they might be too cute to tuck inside a book. I bet the recipients loved their “secret” mail!

One person asked me what it was supposed to be and another commented on the scratch n sniff themed sticker I had on the envelope. :woman_shrugging:
