Star Wars Folded Fabric Coasters

I love this coaster which I got in a swap on C-ster about 15 years ago.

I was stressed and in need of a project on Monday, so I decided to work out how it was made and make a set from Star Wars fabric for a lovely colleague’s 40th birthday.

I know I could Google instructions, but a lot of the fun was working out how it was done. One thing to note is that if you have a directional print that you definitely want to be on the finished coaster top, that part of the strip needs to be face down, so facing backing, and be the underneath half, i.e. the chosen print needs to be touching the backing.

I’m happy with how they turned out, and I how he likes them.
