Stardew Valley Goat Cross Stitch

Just a wee little project! My oldest loves Stardew Valley and I asked him what his favorite animal was and he said the goat. I had planned on making it for Christmas but he caught me working on it so I finished it up and gave it to him last night. I think it turned out cute!

I asked him if he wanted me to make it a pin and for now we decided to leave it as is and he put it on his bulletin board.

Thanks for looking!

I’m curious - what makes 3 strands more of a pain than 2?

:goat::goat::goat:Congrats! Your cute cross stitch is featured this week. :goat::goat::goat:

If you’re doing 2 you can take one long piece, fold it over double, you thread so there’s a loop at one end and when you start it you leave the little loop at the back and when you go back down into the fabric you go through the loop to hold it in place. No knots, one string, it’s fabulous.

For 3 strands you have to cut 3 strings, make them all the same length, thread all three on and make a knot. It makes the back messier and it’s annoying when you have to do lots of color changes/threading of needles.

it’s kind of a little thing but if you’re doing it over and over and over it’s annoying. Doesn’t flow as well.
