Started on a miniature rustic cottage

I’m finally, still slowly, settling into my new life and I recently purchased a couple clamps to do more woodworking. So I am at the beginning stages of making a miniature cottage. It won’t be as large, nor as well constructed as the last one I attempted, but meh, I’m working with what I still own, heh.

I have gotten pretty darn good at keeping the cuts quite uniform this time around.

I’m not putting in as much time as I used to, so it may take me a few days to weeks to finish.

Ok! On my next to-get list, small nails and wood glue… Hmm! Maybe some large rubber bands, too, for using like clamps.

Ok! I just bought some square dowels for the frame. Just to save myself some time.

I still need to figure out how I’ll do the door, but meh, that can wait.

And gluing the front on, before I nail it.

Ok! That’s all I’m going to get done with for today. It’s a bit crooked, but meh, it gives it character, heh.

Ok! Bought some stuffs, to give me something to make from thursday through Sunday (won’t be able to shower, restroom comfortably for four days as the place I go will be closed). So I’ll make small buildings.

I didn’t think this through very well, heh. I don’t have a clamp/jig for gluing it together. Hmm???

Anyway, to work on the other house, I would need to get my dremel out, and I’d rather do that work when I have several things to do, make one mess, not multiple messes, heh.

Ok! All I have left is the door and windows.

Too shaky, so that’s all I got done today, :face_exhaling: . Dad gummit!

Alright, got the window frames made, and I think I’ll have to forego the door frame. Don’t know. I may not be able to finish much more of it, as the place I may be moving to won’t have a good area for woodworking. Will have to see once I’m living there.
