I’m guessing scoring requires a special tool to put in the Cricut instead of one of the blades?
That’s right, @Lynx. I have a Cricut Explore and it and the Maker have holders for two tools at a time. For these one holder has the blade and the other the scoring tool, which looks rather like a stylus.

Apparently there’s also a scoring wheel, but it can only be used with the Cricut Maker.
