Straightening out poly cotton fabric

This was a royal pain in the kiester. The fabric, for some odd reason, did not want to straighten out.

First I pinned one corner, at a position, then I pinned the other corner, once I had the patterns matching as best as possible.

Then, using the iron, I went over it several times, and spritzed the entire piece once. After some time, pulling, pushing, readjusting, I finally got it as good as I could, heh. (You can notice the alien heads still lean a bit…By the time I got to this point, I was kind of fed up, heh. Meh, it won’t be noticeable to anyone but me,).

A person certainly would have to say that you did all you could.

I personally think it looks fine …. :woman_shrugging:

Yep! However, however, however, :face_exhaling:, I hadn’t washed my other shirt by the time I started this. Should have waited. Oof! I need to change the pattern a tad, it’s just a wee too small. The arm needs to be a little wider at the shoulder, and the chest needs to be a tad wider, too. Just a tad, a wee smidgen, a lil bit. I have a tiny teeny little extra girth that the shirt needs just a little more room for. Either that, or my brain is still stuck in the early 90’s and I still want big baggy shirts,.
