Strawberry Galaxy & Squirt

I made this little bird-loving monster for the Sculpture swap.

I had a hard time picking out the color. My first go-around had them looking way too much like Mike W., so I started dry brushing and really liked it. My partner, Chameleonhound, named them Strawberry Galaxy, and it fits! The bird is named Squirt.

My partner’s pic.

I added a few freckles to the front and back. HA!

This was my first time using air-dry clay. I used Sculp’d. It was fun to create with, and I will definitely be doing more. I have already made a few more things out of it, which I will post soon. I am glad I took a shot and went outside of my comfort zone for this swap. :green_heart:

Both adorable and slightly unsettling… just like a monster should be! The eye is so good!

They’re both so cute and fun! You got so much expression with the Sculp’d, which is always a challenge for me with air dry clay. Lovely work!

Do you just pain the eye? It looks really cute/mostery

I love this. Should be a character for a story.

I love them! The colors are so very pretty in person, and the sculpt clay has such a nice feel when you’re holding this sculpture - sturdy and substantial without being rock hard and super heavy.

Gozer you did an excellent job with this cutie!
