Hello all! This is a reminder to everyone about how to submit claims properly for this swap.
It’s super helpful for me (and also part of the rules!) for you to properly format your claim messages to me. Also, please remember that if there are multiple claims for a single item that the first properly formatted claim will win the item.
This is what a properly formatted claim needs:
I need to be included on the message, as well as the person you are claiming from.
The subject needs to be STS2022 Claim
You need to include the send by date, the item and the total amount of points, and your mailing address.
EXAMPLE
Subject: STS2022 Claim
Send by September 29
LC4Life to MissCrafty - miniature felt plushies - (2)
Jane D. Oh
123 Veggie Patch Field
Anywhere, ZZ 987645
USA
It also needs to be in a brand new message and not appended to another message.
Thanks for the reminder—I know I did not do my first one correctly. A question from a newbie: when we ship, does that need to be a brand new message also? Or can that be appended to the claim?
Want to make it as easy as possible for you. I know the bookkeeping can probably get challenging for you. Thanks for hosting!
No worries! I’m not speaking about anyone in particular, just in general to all as a reminder for future claims.
I am ok with appending the ‘shipped’ notice to the message of the original claim. If you decide to send a new message please make the subject ‘STS2022 - Sent’ or ‘STS2022 - shipped’.
And thank you, I do appreciate keeping it easy as possible as this is a big swap to track!
I have the opposite problem - I get such paralysis analysis when everything first opens that I can’t commit to what my first claim will be! But it all sorts itself out somehow. It’s early days.
Those custom cookies are beautiful! I won’t be able to be with my daughter for her bday this year and she’s out of state. Her bday is the end of the month and I’m thinking I’d love to buy some cookies from your shop - would you drop ship?
Things I can also list if people are interested include some larger ceramic bowls & things, machine embroidery (crafty merit badge patches, etc), and I also have some finished pendants & necklaces with the ceramic focal beads plus seed beads & wire wrapping.
Oh!
I need to get my shop open just for claiming cookieeeeeesssss!!
I was hoping someone would have tasty treats in their shop!
Also, @thanate, approx what size are the ceramic pieces in your shop? Apologies if I missed that info. They are all lovely! And crafty merit badges sound fun!
I didn’t get my shop opened as planned(health issues flaring up) but will have it up for sure next week. Have my eyes on one or two things in the shops that are open so I gotta hurry up!
Maybe I’ll join this swap later. I’m in quite a few swaps right now and October tends to be one of the busiest times of the year for me besides December. Although, I do tend to craft mostly Halloween stuff so… we’ll see!
