I will give you a more specific answer after my vacation

No worries. Have fun!

I would like some neon-colored leg warmers. I’m a knitter too, but I have so many ravelry projects I haven’t figured out where to start yet. Seems like I keep having to buy more needles, which makes sense because I’m slowly converting to bamboo. I’m keeping the metal ones for decoration, though, plus they were handed down from my great-grandma.

So are most stores/ purchases agreed upon ahead of time like i see in discussion here? Or if we happen to have things made & can offer them, unplanned, is that ok?

We’re throwing ideas out there of what people would be interested in purchasing, but your store is whatever you want to create!

Some people craft way ahead of time or some are crafting while the swap is still going.

I just make what I want and see what happens. I like that freedom a lot so this is the only swap I do.

This year I made some crochet items for the county fair that I will be offering and I’m working on some more items this summer. In years past I would just craft while the swap was going. There’s no wrong way to do it.

Sometimes things aren’t claimed, but I’m ok with that.

I hope you decide to do this swap. I remember the first time I did it, it was only my second swap and seemed complicated. Once it starts you figure it out pretty quickly and everyone is helpful and supportive.

I hope to work on stuff to open a shop. I have both a small embroidery machine as well as a laser. Not sure if anyone would like items using either of those things. And as always, I love my paper crafting.

I know I would love some fingerless mitts as I am always cold and use the only pair i have quite often.

I love little embroidered patches to sew onto things. I can’t wait to see what you make!

Embroidery & laser both sound neat!
I remember receiving a lovely laser ornament before…. Was that from you, or am I misremembering?

Hmmm, times like this I think having a post box across the line would be worth it, idea’slook great. Not sure I’m confident enough to host one of my own right now.

I posted a list of what I saw on the thread that people thought were good ideas to have in the shops in the first post. There were also ideas for customizable small things which I think would be a good idea as long as you can finish it in a timely manner.

I have in my calendar to start swap signups on September 1st.
Get working on those five items if you don’t have something already crafted! Three of them must be new to this current swap.

I personally know I have to get my butt in gear

When are you going to close the swap?

I may wait until the first or second week of november, now that I’m thinking about it.
Thoughts, anyone?
