You got a couple more from me!

My shop is open and I’ve spent all my points!

More items coming this weekend!

Nessie says please come visit my shop!

I also wanted to check and see if @artsycandice was interested this year. I always love their stuff.

Yeek, just opened my shop!
I’m hopefully going to add more (functional) pottery things soon, and some small woven (and possibly other fiber) things after the weekend!

Also editing to add the teaser photo I forgot to include. :woman_facepalming:t3:

My photos are coming out huge –
I thought there used to be a little tab when I hovered over each photo where I could choose 25-50-75% size? Not seeing it now

eta: hmmm, looks like if I paste the photos in my post I get that tab, but if I use a link to my Google photos I don’t.

My baby is home from college for the weekend so I will be a bit slow on responding and won’t be able to mail packages until Monday.

@susieoregon - I’ve also spent all my points :joy:. Which is tragic because I really wanted to grab a shark and Nessie. (Which sounds like an awesome kids book.)

There are so many things I want to save points for in everyone’s stores. It’s going to be an epic STS season!

Have a great time with your daughter this weekend!

I am considering making another shark or 2 later on in the swap. I’ll keep you posted! I have items I want in almost every shop and it’s hard to prioritize!

I got a couple claims so I pulled out the scale and will figure out pirate ship this weekend.

@irid3sc3nt - I apologize for the formatting errors on my claim messages! Moving forward I will do it correctly!

I am having a difficult time deciding which vase I’m going to claim. My current thoughts - ‘I love the shape on this one, but look at the color on that one, oooh but check out the shine on that one…’ Just when I think I’ve decided, I make the mistake at looking the others, lol. I’m also considering waiting until I get one more point, that way I can claim two at once!

Hey all, we’re having a little trouble with formatting. If y’all recall, in the Q I asked for you to keep a copy of how to do this available to you. Please print this or write it down, however you need. I realize I did not put on there how to make a claim if you have multiple items from the same person. That’s on me, I’ll put an example of that up.

Here is a refresher:

First, the subject line needs to read what kind of message it is, if it is a CLAIM, SENT, RECEIVED and needs to include the two crafters involved.
Second, the text body needs to include the send by date, which is one week from the current date.
Third, write your claim–all in one sentence–with the points at the end in parenthesis.
Last, include your address.

BASIC EXAMPLE:

STS2025 Claim - LC4Life to MissCrafty

Send by Sept 29
LC4Life to MissCrafty - miniature felt plushies (2)

Jane D. Oh
123 Veggie Patch Field
Anywhere, ZZ 987645

MULTIPLE ITEMS EXAMPLE:

STS2025 CLAIM - LC4Life to MissCrafty

Send by Sept 29
LC4Life to MissCrafty - brown vase (1) + paper flowers (2) = (3)

Jane D. Oh
123 Veggie Patch Field
Anywhere, ZZ 987645

I have to be a stickler about it because if I can copy/paste, that is going to go faster than me typing (although my typing skillz are pretty decent). I have to keep track in Open Office sheets on my comp and also Google sheets for the mods. Plus the tally of points and the claims on the swap board. So, minimal effort on your part means less room for error on mine. If you happen to have access to the google sheet swaps then you can peek at what I do on my end if you are curious.

As always, let me know if you have questions, etc.

Oh and I don’t mind if you shorten names in the subject fields.

As I’m getting things ready to mail, I just thought I’d pop on here and let everyone know that “Ground Advantage” shipping from the continent to Hawaii might sound scary (I think they say it could take 26 days or something), it’s usually just the normal amount of time, so PLEASE don’t feel like you need to pay higher shipping rates.
(That being said, sometimes a package can take a while but it can happen even with faster methods. And if something doesn’t up taking a month, I still won’t complain.)

Now to go spend points!!
Hey, will anyone be making snacks this year? I know we’ve had cookies, fudge, and years ago someone made a hot chocolate mix…
