Sugar & Spice Peppermint Tin

Here’s my contribution to Christmas in July. I made an altered tin that sits on top of a cubbie filled with miniature cookie cutters backed with silver glitter scrapbook paper. The entire thing sits on a chipboard base. Anyone who needs a refresher on altering an altoid tin I am happy to refer you to Rackcoo’s excellent tutorial.

I made snowman assemblies by glueing beads onto round toothpicks. The top hat and base are both painted wood turnings.

They look happy in their little holiday sweaters! Those beads can be found here if you want to source some. Happy crafting!

That’s so sweet, thank you! I’ve just not had much to share lately (but am already working on a few Halloween projects). I do pop in a few times a week to admire what everyone has been up to.
