After making a post card for the Nerd Games, I couldn’t resist continuing to play with the watercolors. Since I enjoy her cheerful style (both of painting and of teaching), I just had to try Andrea Nelson’s tutorial for painting fireflies. I was out of post cards, so this one is 6"x6". Yay for cheerful little moments, whenever you can find or make them!
So cool. I love a good yellow/blue contrast moment. I wish I lived in a place that had fireflies.
Lovely!
LOVE it!! So serene.
This is so cute! I love fireflies. It looks so peaceful and dreamy. I like that it is square too. Great composition!
What a great vignette of summer nights.
Cute watercolor! Love the vivid blue and the way you depicted the clear glass jar. I was just noticing the fireflies in our backyard yesterday evening.
Whoa! Your wonderful watercolor is a featured project this week!
