Summerween mug rug

I made this little mug rug for @chameleonhound in the Summerween swap. It was inspired by a wallhanging with similar blocks from a magazine from a few years back, I think Love Patchwork And Quilting. I changed the colours to Summerween colours. Bonus: everything is from stash!

Other than the pink bunting fabric (a Kaffe Fasset fabric I purchased this summer) everything has been in my stash for ages.

It wasn’t quilted and I hand bound it. I tried to make it a little wonky on purpose but I think I might have overdone it…

Thanks!! @Bunny1kenobi The ghost fabric is one of my all-time favourites! I got a yard of it years ago,and I’ve almost used it up by now, the colour and the print are both fantastic. Squares of it have made their way to many LC’ers and are in several of my scrappy projects. @chameleonhound I wasn’t sure about the sparkly fabric as I wondered if it would be too “Christmassy”. But I love that one too. The fabric is very sparkly/glittery irl but it’s hard to capture in a picture.
