I made this one using a picture my brother send me. It’s from a bird with a peculiar expression.
It was kinda request. He wants to hang it in his office!
This is also a watercolour painting. I start with drawing the bird, erasing most of the pencil and than paint from the lighest to the darkest colours.

I’m glad you included the closeup photo so you can really see how you created the feather effect using watercolors. And the eyes! The barest hint of color in the yellow. Ugh, I love this. I mean the “ugh” in like… “ugh, someone else gets it cuz I want it to hang with my art in my home”.
