Sometimes a pattern just shows up somewhere in my feeds and I just have to make it. I have no plans for any of the animals and toys I make, I just like making them.

This one was inspired by a random fat quarter pack I bought. The fabrics were similar to the pattern picture.

After I finished it, my husband said it was a cute dog. :unamused_face:

I had to agree with him…so I adjusted the pattern to shorten the neck, round out the body, make the tail longer, and change the ears…uh, yeah, I practically drew an all new pattern!
But, that will be another day…so for now, this is whatever you see! :laughing:

Kinda reminds me of those autograph dogs back in the day…but, she will live on my bookshelf, on the look out for the little mice that will also be arriving soon.

Ooh, I had forgotten about the autograph dogs. The seemed to always be dachshunds.

She’s adorable! She does look like a Chihuahua to me. I love your choice in fabric and it looks vintage-y.
