T-shirt yarn scraps meets crochet eyes meets hand sewing

A few months ago, I was obsessed with crocheting eyes. I apparently found a great pattern, which I have since lost/forgotten. Anyhoo, I was obsessed with making T-shirt yarn last summer (guess who recently got diagnosed with ADHD?) and had a lot of scrap pieces left over, so “eye” (Get it? :grimacing: It seemed funnier in my head) combined the two and came up with these pins!

Thank you! That’s the best crochet eye that I’ve done and I can’t figure out where I found the tutorial OR what I did if I just winged it, which I’m starting to think is the case… :disappointed:

What a hoot! These are especially fun with spooky season coming on and the popularity of “evil eye” imagery in home decor recently. FUN!

What a fun way to combine both projects. That last one is my favorite. The floss on the yellow makes me think of hazel eyes and works well with the eye in the middle.

Right? That’s what I was thinking.

These are so colorful! It’s neat that you made them into brooches. I could totally see them sewn onto a denim jacket as well.

Sorry, I am trying to check my online stuff more often, but work has been busy and I’m just exhausted when I get home.
Thank you! They’re about 2" in diameter.
