Tags/Labels for a "Sensorium" Gift

I decided to give a friend a “sensorium” for Christmas, so of course I had to make labels/tags for each of the gifts and a tag for the gift back they went into!

Four of the “tags” are envelopes, one is a mini clipboard. All cut with dies on my Sizzix. They either have the sense on the outside or on another die cut inside. I used a variety of stamps for labeling and decorating.

The big “Cinda’s Sensorium” tag was a bit challenging to photograph, because of the giltter paper letters, also die cut.

These are really cool. I’m super curious about what a sensorium is though!

Thank you!

This is the actual definition, but I have seen it used to describe a collection of items meant to interact with the 5 senses:

  1. the sensory apparatus considered as a whole.

Mine started with a couple of gifts on her “list,” which were a couple of her favorite scented candles (smell) and a butter bell (taste). For sight, I got a book of images to cut out for collage. Hearing: a small brass bell on a stand to sit on her desk. Touch: a worry stone that looks like pink quartz, but I think is glass.

Thank you!

Such a great idea! And your packaging is perfect for it.

Aw, thanks so much!

That’s such a lovely idea! I love all the gifts you chose for each sense.

Thanks! I hope she does, too.
