In the class, we just put the cones of thread on the floor with no holder, and that worked for us.
I don’t know her background, but she has some cool tools (like a V-shaped ruler) and books (including a free one with common guideline layouts).
That is beautiful! I’ve seen these at craft sales before, but never fully appreciated the work that went into making them.
