Tentacle Tree Stump

Another painting from Watercolor Wizardry. Tentacles in a stump! This one reminds me of the Pacific Northwest Tree Octopus. As a fan of cephalopods of all sorts, I love it.

This is another fun addition to the Wizard Watercolors. I like this one as well!

You are really making short work of the projects in that book! All of your paintings are so cool, and they definitely look like a set. Will you display them together?

Thanks! The kids and I have been enjoying painting together over our holiday weekend. We have so much stuff on the walls that I don’t display much of my own work, these are destined to be given away at some point, but for now they live in a little photo album (I find it’s an easy way to store postcard sized art).

I thought of the tree octopus as soon as I saw this, looks like he found a tasty treat in that stump :octopus:
I like the little plants in the foreground and the way the scenery fades out in the background.
