For my sister’s birthday, we planned a little getaway to VT, and her co-worker offered us the use of her timeshare condo. We’ll be putting together a little gift basket of local products (including cheese!), and this is the thank you card I made while up at the condo.
I used a tutorial from Cathy Zielske to cut the 4 background panels from a book page. I picked up 2 stamps from the clearance bin at Michael’s, and could not get a clear impression of the one we liked better, so I used the other one. We felt like it needed a bit more so I doodled the flowers, and painted them in with watered down Sharpie ink. Then I added in the little flower-shaped sequins, and it was done.
The hardest part was attaching the book page panels. I held them together with a piece of tape, and popped them up with foam tape. They were a bit squirrely, so they slightly off center because once that foam tape makes contact, it is stuck (CZ uses a bit of glue for some float time, but the glue I had was too drippy- glue would have been everywhere!).
