Thanksgiving Background for Aquarium

This project is a little unconventional for this site, but nevertheless it is a much needed paper craft project in my life right now.

During the holidays, I like to add a few decorative sentiments to my fish aquarium. Unfortunately, there is not much in the way of Thanksgiving aquarium décor (unless someone can point me in the right direction). I do have a pumpkin but that is about it. So I had to get creative.

I decided to use some images I drew previously on my iPad to create a festive background. I put together various drawings including my Fall tree, scarecrow, turkey and holiday pumpkins. Then I printed out 3 pages on white cardstock, glued them together, added some extra details and attached them to the back of my aquarium. Hopefully this idea will inspire you as well if you happen to have a fish aquarium!

Happy Holidays and enjoy!

This is great! I don’t have an aquarium but this is such a clever idea. I like the idea of seasonal aquarium decorations. We had aquarium at home when I grew up but it just had the same boring rocks for years.

Cute & fun!

Thank you! The Thanksgiving decor really helps tie in all the other decorations in the room where I have the tank. Can’t wait to do an aquarium Christmas design soon!
