I’m a big fan of David Lynch and Twin Peaks and decided to do a portrait of The Log Lady. I’m really happy with how she turned out!! 9x12 Watercolor and Crayon.

Oh my gosh, yes! What a blast from the past. Also, before reading anything else, the title immediately made me think of this woman on Instagram named Leah Houghtaling who is a woodworker/crafter. She has a “log reveal” every Wednesday.

I love the little details that you included-- the swirls on the log, the texture on the jacket, the little ring, the acorn brooch, and the small flyaways. Your artwork is always enjoyable. Twin Peaks! My husband and I were just talking about it yesterday!
