Got another collage frame from Goodwill recently and decided to do the Munsters for it considering there’s a Halloween Art Show coming up at the community gallery next month! I grew up watching this show, so this was a lot of fun for me to create. They’re all done with watercolor and crayons. My favorite to draw was actually the house. I don’t draw a lot of architecture, but I think I’ll do it more often. Hope you enjoy these extra in progress photos…
The house caught my eye right away! I like all the portraits, but the house was definitely a fun edition!
This is so much fun! I love the Munsters, and the inclusion of the house is chef’s kiss!
This is my favorite of your collage frames so far, and that is saying a lot because I have loved them all.
Love, love, love these as always. That house is so awesome!
Aw thank you. It’s fun to get the frames and then design art around them.
These are excellent! And the idea to use a group frame is ingenious! Love the way you did the cartoon faces.
How cool is this??? I keep being so pleasantly surprised by your next post. I should know better by now. lol!
OMG! This is fantastic! Love the Munster! And I love the art style, but also how it’s like a portrait set of family photos.
The Munsters, yesss! The only time I could watch it was when my family went on vacation and the place we were staying had cable tv. I would be able to watch one episode then my sisters picked their shows. I recently bought a secondhand Munsters shirt that needs a little work, but should be fun.
Anywho, your architecture turned out great (I mean, besides everyone else). It’s always a treat to see your work. I wish I could go to your Halloween Art Show…it sounds like such a fun time!!
Congrats! Your spooky drawings are featured this week.
Yayyy!!
So cool! I bet the Addams Family would be another great one to do in this style.
Yes, you did the house very well! I always liked The Munsters more than The Addams Family. They were so laid back and fun. Your portraits are nice too. They all fit perfectly into the collage frame you scored. Good job!
