I got an Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade Dr. Elsa Schneider figure in the mail yesterday. When I opened up the box, I discovered that the Holy Grail accessory was snapped in half. It had been retaped closed, so, I strongly suspect that my sample wasn’t really new and was somebody else’s return, but, that’s a matter for Batman to investigate.
I got out my Dremel, drilled holes into both sides of the break, inserted a small metal rod, for reinforcement, to rejoin them, and super glued it all back together again. I don’t have the heart to tell Elsa that’s not the real Grail, but, she can find that out the hard way when she takes a drink from it…
