This was my handmade gift for Ada for Christmas this year. Three little mermaid friends, with removable tails, and three little pets in matching tote bags. They came from a panel I picked up at a local quilt shop during the Midwest Meetup. Just a simple cut and sew panel, but I like how they came together. Ada is having a great time giving them hugs, carrying around the tiny totebags on her wrist, and taking off their tales, before bringing them to Mama to put the tails back on. And of course asking ‘What dis?’
