They took a bit longer than expected since the resin part can be so finicky. I made my own “blood” beads freeform. And I had to make 4 axes. Except that ended up being more like 10 because I kept screwing them up. Lol. I also made the beads with silver hardware first and didn’t like the silver so I had to remake them now in brass.
Neat. I love using shrinky dink and resin together. I’ve never thought of embedding something in the resin. I absolutely love your addition of the axes. And yes inquiring minds want to know how you made the axes and the beads because wow!
@Tapestry@Rlynn thanks! The axes are just more shrinkydink embedded in resin. I kept screwing them up because I kept keeping them in the oven too long.
As for the blood drops, I made the resin red with alcohol ink. Then I made little pools of resin on top of a silicone mat. I put jump rings in the resin and pulled them out a bit to make them more droplet-shaped. I cured them, then I flipped them over so the flat side is up. Then I filled the flat side in with more resin and cured it. They aren’t perfect that way so then I dipped them in the resin and turn them in the UV light so that it covers the whole thing, makes it smoother, and doesn’t drip off.
