Themed Seatbelt Covers

I have been a busy little bee! Alongside my beading, I have been working on these the past 2 weeks and just finished them tonight! They are gifts for some of my family. On more than one occasion, I thought I might have bitten off more than I could chew as I had not sewn since high school 20+ years ago but only going to get better by doing it.

Some new things I learned how to do with this project: use interfacing, ladder stitch to close up and sew Velcro

Super Mario - Sister
Grogu - Mom
Sugar skulls - Sister in law
Star Wars - Dad

Really hope they like them!

As a short person who has to use these or the seat belt is uncomfortable, these are amazing! I love a useful craft and kudos to you for going out of your comfort zone to create something so cool!

A customized, handmade practical gift… who could ask for more? Great idea and they look so well made.

these look great and its nice to see them made out of smooth fabric. I don’t like the fuzzy ones.

They look great!

(And you reminded me that I’ve been saying for years I want to make myself a couple, one for the driver seat and one for driving shotgun, but I always forget it the minute I step out of the car.)

Excellent fabric choices! I’d never guess that you haven’t sewn recently. They look great!
