There's a Monster at the End of This Accordion Book

I made this book for Kwality570 in the recent accordion book swap.

Such a cute monster! But also, I had to laugh because I read that last flap as “Cor, there’s a monster at the end of this accordion book.” And I read it in a British accent as a result :joy: :joy: :joy:.

Thank you!

I consume a lot of British content, so it’s entirely possible there’s a British accent in this book somewhere :laughing: .

I did as well! I think the “cor” works perfectly.

@megwell
Are the panels all separate then adhered to the accordion or is the gelli plate background printed straight onto the paper? The buildings have a chalkboard effect that I’m enjoying.

Thanks, everyone!

@irid3sc3nt, I printed the backgrounds directly on the paper. My sheet of mixed media paper wasn’t long enough to do the book in one go, so the green section is added in – essentially, an extension. The buildings are printed on book page and glued to the background.
