Thrift Store Christmas Cards

Last week I found these laser cut wedding invitations at a thrift store. For $8, I got 50 cards, 150 gold inserts, and 125 envelopes. They retail for about $3 per card/insert/envelope.

I designed pear and partridge cut files, cut the pears out of mint green shimmer cardstock, and filled in the little heart with pink, then used my foil quill for the first time to foil and cut the partridges.

This is what they look like all assembled:

They aren’t perfect, or exactly how I pictured, but in part that’s because everything but the cards came from my stash, and I worked on them
today, while my chef husband and son worked a Thanksgiving Buffet, so I wasn’t going to go buy a different color/type of cardstock for the partridges, and I couldn’t find my medium foil quill so had to use the fine. It’s ok, though, because the inside will say “Have a Very Peary Christmas” and puns make everything perfect.
