Totoro Quilted Bookmark

There’s something I love about creating for someone else I made this bookmark for a personal swap. My swap partner said they liked Miyazaki films, and I had some small scraps of this Totoro fabric in my stash that a friend had stamped for me years ago.
It ended up being a tiny quilt I hand quilted around the figures on the front, and used a special japanese printed fabric on the back. I even hand stitched the binding. I really love it and I hope it’s recipient does too
My recent photos on LC haven’t turned out great, because I’m doing all my crafting after work and it get’s dark here by 5:30pm! Winter has well and truly come in Melbourne
