Trashy ATCs

Not smutty-trashy, just trash-trashy.

For the October Ongoing ATC Swap, I claimed @TruGritty for her “turning trash into treasure theme” and ended up working on a few cards in that vein.

The card that ultimately went to TG .

The base is magazine page scraps (probably from my ICAD bases) on a food box substrate. The circles I stamped with a cork & outlined in Posca. The guitar I salvaged from a page in the recycle box, and the “sentiment” I composed from some old word cutouts I was trying to clean out.

This one I started when I wasn’t actually sure what direction my swap claim was going to go . I collaged some Amazon and tea bag packaging and shapes cut from used sticky notes. The color and splatters are Stabilo.

I also wanted to make one for me using a random post-it I found on my desk recently with a miscellaneous phone number and “Honey I brought the bees” written on it. (I have no idea, don’t ask.) I stuck some old painty waxed paper on a security envelope background I had lying around and added the note and a random bit from that earlier recycle bin page.

I did not mean to write a novel here; I just about lost the will writing it, so if you’re still here, thanks for looking!

It looks like you had fun making these. I think my fave is the last one but they are all great!

I clicked for the smutty-trashy but stayed for the trash-trashy!
Love the grunginess! and the splash of color on the 3rd one

The bees one cracks me up. I love how random it is, even to you! The background is also very cool looking.

I loved reading about how you came up with these garbage ATCs! They turned out very cool!

Ha! I did the same.

Thanks, everyone!

And sorry for the accidental click-bait; I surf LC from the view that includes a preview of the post text, so in my mind the clarification was more transparent.
