I had so much fun making The Rabbit of Caerbannog I was inspired to tackle another iconic Holy Grail craft. This trojan rabbit started with a little 3 inch house chipboard shadowbox from Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts.
I used coffee stir sticks for the wood. They were glued in place then clipped to fit once the glue dried.
Once I was happy with the wood placement I stained it with a wash of brown paint. I made the rabbit’s head from wood grain scrapbook paper.
Turn it around and you’ll find a surprise inside!

Oh my goodness, this is delightful!
I have often wondered what I could make with those stir sticks, and this is just the perfect use of them!

I dig this! I grew up watching this movie and it only gets funnier every time I watch it. And this is well made! Is that a removable wall, to see inside? Or did you skip that?
