I like a riot of throw pillows on the sofa. The rest of the room is pretty neutral except the gallery wall and I kind of consider the pillows a soft extension of the gallery. Plus it’s a good way to use stash fabrics, trims, and buttons that I love! My MIL bought this for me when we were all in Hawaii a couple years ago.
That said, this pillow cover is plain and uses a zipper closure.
Realizing that I didn’t have an appropriate zipper in stash again reminded me about how big of a loss it has been to lose JoAnn.

The throw pillow looks lovely and super professional. Love the fabric.
100% yes. Every single time I need a notion, zipper, thread, or particular fabric I mourn Joann all over again.

Thank you!
I wonder how long it will take for me to be used to it. I mean, I’ll never forget.

Plain? Absolutely not.
The print is so great and it looks like a great “tummy hug” pillow. This is a term I just adopted with my friends for a pillow you hug while watching something or talking.

Thanks! Well, most of the other throw pillow covers I’ve made have piping, usually that I made myself, or some other kind of detail on the edges and often decorative buttons up the back, so this feels plain despite the print!

Now that’s a cheerful pillow!
That’s what I was going for!
