Ooo. I really like this! A bit haunting and unnerving. So good. I really like the way you achieved the loose thread look. What is the woven material in the background?

the one on the background was being sold in a sewing supplies shop, no idea of its use, but its very sturdy. under the doll parts i used gauze.

If you mean the collage itself: it is done on a cardboard, i glued that stiff material on top with gesso. Then i used gauze in between the background and doll parts.
If you mean the meaning behind it is just how i feel. i am unraveling in all spots and still seen intact from outside at least.
Her face has that blob of metallic paint because i didnt want her face to be the focal point.

that is a strong message. I believe we all sometimes feel like we’re falling apart, and sometimes don’t even know why. So this “simple” what’s wrong question is so hard to answer.
