Upcycled kitchen cabinets part two

This was the second wall cabinet we removed. This one was better quality, mostly wood veneered chipboard. I took off the doors and took off the hardware. Then gave it a coat of paint and old wallpaper in the back. It will be a cookery book bookcase, and it will sit under the kitchen island (eventually)

This is the before, you can just about see it in the corner

The wallpaper makes it so charming!

So nice that you are able to repurpose some of the old to function in the newer parts of your kitchen. These projects will add charm and personality as well as being practicalโ€ฆhaving a place for cookbooks and recipes will be wonderful!

Ooo, this is a great save! The blue paint really compliments that wallpaper perfectly and I love the little scallop detail on the bottom of the shelf.

Thanks, the scallop detail is the original moulding that was on top of the cupboard when it was on the wall
