Upholstery fabric house plant

@Reese52 needed a swap angel for the green thumb swap. It was the perfect opportunity to dip into my upholstery sample stash.
I put one pipe cleaner in the center of each leaf for support. I will add more if I do it again. My vision was for it to be more like a snake plant, but that just wasn’t happening with the bigger, heavier leaves.

I love it! Thanks you so much! Perfect addition to my office since I to have no windows and can’t bring in any live plants.

This is so cool! You’ve got my gears turning, because I kind of want some houseplants, but I’m never inspired by ones I see for sale and I don’t actually want to be in charge of any more living things!

Right? The only reason my kids are alive is because they complain when they are hungry. :joy:

I love this!

My family gave me live plants when we moved into our new home…after I had gotten rid of most of the ones I had in my old home. Real plants just don’t survive in my house!

I don’t have a large upholstery fabric stash, so hoping this will work with thinner fabric.

The colors you picked and mixed are definitely your trademark…just clever and beautiful!

I bet thinner fabrics will work even better. I would love to see your take on this idea! She said her favorite colors are red and purple. I didn’t have any purple upholstery, but I had plenty of red. I hope it fits her vibe.
