Yeah, I tried to send wax seals through the mail in high school & none of them made it in or outside of the envelope. The wax technology has improved a lot since then, but these days I mostly use them when I’m being fancy about securing string around small boxes or for hand-delivered birthday invites & things.
Somehow I just found this thread this evening… And I also need some brads. Magically, you have some there… I’ll send you a message.
And tomorrow I am sure I will find some things I don’t need to offer up here…
Serendipity! I love it when that happens.
I found some stuff that needs a new home!
I am in New Mexico in the US. Please send me your address if you’d like something! International shipping isn’t something I do much so let me see what the requirements are these days before I commit to that…
Patterns, added 5/23/25:
Simplicity 4234 Size A 8-18 - Appears to all be there
Fabric:
The textured red is almost 60" wide but only maybe 1/2 yard is not cut into.
The smoother polyester red is roughly 19"x40"
Cotton frogs about 1/2 yd I think
Cotton stripes about 1/4 yd I think - CLAIMED!
I may have just switched the last two. I’ll recheck. They are both cut into at least some. I originally bought these for mask making.
Fuschia shiny sequin-y, about 38"x40"
Other stuff:
-Lavender Tulle 25 yd roll
-A gold colored arrow brooch with a broken clasp. I saved it to do something with but maybe you can think of something faster than I can…
Tiny alphabet stamps, two different fonts
Arduino patch
hematite sun pendant
pin to a knitting loom I no longer have
Black & white fuzzy yarn of unknown fiber blend
wooden fork to a weaving loom
bones and fingers silicone mold
Set of felting needles, a selection of scrapbook paper - some cut but mostly whole, partially finished fleece monster scarf - one pupil missing
Two different types of photo mounting bits, shiny white gift wrap ribbon, a pack of tiny black bow embellishments
There will be more as I unpack more…
My “currently looking for” …
-skull beads of any kind/color/size
-cotton yarn solids, dk to worsted, leftovers to full skeins
Anybody got sashiko thread? A friend asked me where to get it locally, the 1 shop we both know of in town closed down. Edel sent me some a while back but… er … um…

Wooden circles thanate
Fishing line thanate
Metal crochet hooks, various sizes thanate
One of these hook type thingies size I “eye” thanate
Collapsible fabric and wood basket Tapestry
The :uhmm" is the tool you use on the knitting loom to bring the yarn over the pegs…nice stuff, but I am also trying to cut back…
Cool, thank you! I paired it with the knitting loom.
Could I snag the fox stamp? And the collapsible fabric bin if you can figure out shipping? Also, I’ll need to send you shipping costs.
It shouldn’t be an issue to find a box.
Thank you!
Key stamp, please! Also I would use the wood circles & crochet hooks, & probably the fishing line.
Excellent! I’m so glad you’re able to use them.
Do you want the purple crochet hook thingy with the cap on the end? And the orange plastic one?
Those are for tunisian crochet…I am just drooling, but, again, resisting getting any more stuff! So, answer this…how did you come into all of those yarny tools?
My BFF had to move quickly from here to Maryland and had to leave a few things behind. She had stopped yarn projects a while ago, but kept some of the tools.
sure, I’ll take the Tunisian crochet one as well.
I have jewelry-making supplies such as crimp beads, eye pins, jump rings, earring hooks, cord, and beads that I finally separated. Would anyone be interested? I can take pics when there is better light. I couldn’t tell you which beads are stone or ceramic or glass, though. There’s very little plastic out of the baggies of beads.
I think this is the last little bit of the supplies my friend left behind.
I plan on shipping out this week. I wanted to wait to gather all the stuff for sending together.
OH! I’ll ask for your addresses if you haven’t messaged them to me yet. ![]()
I would love the crimp beads and regular beads! I have several projects in the works that need beads. ![]()
Okay! That’s great!
